मेरी सरकार के माध्यम से प्राप्त नागरिकों के सुझावों पर रेल मंत्रालय ने कार्य आरम्भ किया
मेरी सरकार के सदस्यों ने “भारतीय रेल” समूह जिसे पहले “डिजिटल रेल” समूह के नाम से भी जाना जाता था, पर अपने विचार साझा किए थे। इस समूह में दो विषयों “रेल पूछताछ प्रणाली” और “टिकटिंग सिस्टम” पर चर्चा हुई थी। हमें यह सूचित करते हुए अत्यंत खुशी हो रही है, की मेरी सरकार पर साझा किए गये उल्लेखनीय सुझावों को रेल मंत्रालय द्वारा ध्यान में रखा गया है। इन सुझावों ने भारतीय रेल द्वारा बेहतर सेवाएं प्रदान करने की दिशा में एक सकारात्मक बदलाव के लिए महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।
मेरी सरकार पर प्राप्त विचारों और सुझावों के अनुसरण के संबंध में रेल मंत्रालय द्वारा उठाए गए कार्यों और निर्णयों का विवरण नीचे दिया जा रहा हैः-

| 1. | ट्रेन आगमन से पहले ट्रेन यात्रियों को अपेक्षित समय और यात्रा विवरण का “एसएमएसअलर्ट”। | ट्रेन के आगमन/प्रस्थान की स्थिति एसएमएस के माध्यम से उपलब्ध है। यात्री ट्रेन की वर्तमान स्थिति प्राप्त करने के लिए वाक्य रचना SPOT<गाड़ी सं> के साथ 139 पर एसएमएस भेज सकते हैं। |
| 2. | रात्रि के समय ट्रेन के गंतव्य स्टेशन पर आगमन पर यात्रियों के लिए ध्वनि अलर्ट। | गंतव्य आगमन अलर्ट 139 रेलवे पूछताछ सेवा के माध्यम से 20-10-2014 से उपलब्ध है। गन्तवय अलर्ट 139 पर फोन या ALERT <पीएनआर नं.> को 139 पर एसएमएस करके प्राप्त की जा सकती है। |
| 3. | क्षेत्रीय भाषा में सहायता के लिए अतिरिक्त पूछताछ नंबर। | हिन्दी और अंग्रेजी के अलावा, रेलवे पूछताछ 139 असमिया, बंगाली, उड़िया, कन्नड़, मलयालम, तमिल, तेलुगू, पंजाबी, मराठी और गुजराती की तरह कई अन्य क्षेत्रीय भाषाओं में भी जानकारी प्रदान करता है। |
| 4. | आईआरसीटीसी का पेमेंट गेटवेइंटर नेशनल डेबिट/ क्रेडिट कार्ड दोनों का समर्थन करना चाहिए। | आईआरसीटीसी ने वेब सेवाओं के माध्यम सेक्लियर ट्रिप,मेक माँय ट्रिप और यात्रा जैसे पोर्टल्स के साथ करार किया है। आईआरसीटीसी की इन सहयोगी वेबसाइटों के द्वारा भी इंटरनेशनल डेबिट/क्रेडिट कार्ड दोनों स्वीकार किया जाता हैं। |
| 5. | टोल फ्री नंबर (139)मुक्त किया जाना चाहिए। | रेलवे पूछताछ नंबर पीपीपी मॉडल (139) पर आधारित है और चार्जेबल है। इसलिए इसे टोल फ्री बनाना संभव नहीं है। |
| 6. | मोबाइल बैलेंस का उपयोग कर टिकट बुकिंग की अनुमति। | टिकट बुकिंग के लिए मोबाइल बैलेंस का उपयोग प्रचलित नियामक प्रावधानों के प्रति संभव नहीं है। |
| 7. | टिकट परीक्षक को कलम और कागजका उपयोग करने के बजाय एक नोटबुक का उपयोग करना चाहिए। | यात्री स्टेटस को अपडेट करने के लिए प्रायोगिक स्तर पर कुछ ट्रेनों में हैण्ड हेल्ड टर्मिनल का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। कुछ और ट्रेनों में इसके विस्तार का कार्य प्रगति पर है। |
| 8. | आईआरसीटीसी की टिकट बुकिंग प्रणाली को क्रैश से बचने के लिए वेबसाइट को अधिक बैंडविड्थ बनाया जाना चाहिए। | आईआरसीटीसी वेबसाइट में उच्च बैंडविड्थ, नए सॉफ्टवेयर और एक नए सर्वरका इस्तेमाल किया गया है। जिससे सिस्टम अब 1.2 लाख समवर्ती कनेक्शन का सफल संचालन करने में सक्षम है। |
| 9. | सामान्य सेवा केन्द्र से रेलवे टिकट का आरक्षण। | आईआरसीटीसी ने सामान्य सेवा केंद्र से रेलवे टिकट आरक्षण को सक्षम करने के लिए “सीएससी ई-गवर्नेन्स सर्विसेजइंडिया लिमिटेड” के साथ एक समझौता किया है। सीएससी को एक बड़ी संख्या में रेल आरक्षण टिकटिंग के लिए सक्रिय किया जा रहा हैं। |

Railways should allow Boarding in Duronto Trains t the Stations where it has Technical Halts. Passengers are able to get down at these stations where Duronto stops but find difficult to start their journey fearing that their reservation may get cancelled before the train arrives by the TTE as "Not Boarded". Full fare may continue to be charged

Subject-Cash Less Railway Reservation Without Broker Intervention With JAN-DHAN YOJNA:
Hi Sir, Just want to share one idea, If possible please plan for cash less Railway reservation where Debit/Credit card swipe machine would be available on railway counter and for any reservation, card owner name should be match with one passenger, who will travel in same PNR. It will help to change Passenger mindset about railway who are facing broker problem as well it will help to grow JAN-DHAN YOJNA also.

Recently the news have been out that platform ticket would be 10rs. From 1st April 2015.
However the minimum travelling fare is Rs.5.
ppl would obviously get a minimum after ticket even to stand in platform.
COULD THE DECISION MAKING TEAM PLZ HELP US GET THE LOGIC BEHIND THE SAME OR IS IT HINTING TOWARDS THE RISE IN FARES.

New local trains can travel at speed of 100 km. Please start non stop super fast train from Virar to Dadar so that people will reach dadar in half time.Then these people can travel in empty trains from dadar to andheri ,malad or borivali.Thus people will reach in same time but with more comfort.
