Announcing Winners of the Photography Contest hosted to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi
NCERT under the Ministry of Education, GoI, in association with MyGov under the Ministry of Electronics & IT, GoI, organized an online Photography Competition on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi under “Aatmanirbhar Bharat – Swatantra Bharat”.
The event was organized between 10th – 18th September 2020 on the MyGov Innovate platform for school children in the following three categories; Category 1 – Class I to V, Category 2 – Class VI to VIII, Category 3 – Class IX to XII, with an objective to promote and develop photography skill among the new generation. The overarching themes of the competition were “Dignity of Labour” and “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”.
The competition received an overwhelming response as 6547 entries were received from young and buddying shutterbugs. Each entry was carefully evaluated by the Jury, in accordance with the guidelines of the competition. We are glad to announce the list of Top 10 winners of the Photography Competition from each category.
