MyGov Himachal News Letter Launched
MyGov Himachal has also started a digital monthly magazine called “MyGov Himachal News Letter” to connect with the people of the state and to take governance at their doorstep. This magazine will have articles, news, awareness campaigns, and topics related to public interest. MyGov Himachal News Letter (digital) magazine will be available on the MyGov Himachal portal and other social media channels. The magazine was launched by the Hon’ble CM Jai Ram Thakur yesterday on one year of completion of MyGov Himachal.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a dream of Digital India where the government is open and governance is transparent, A massive campaign which is known as Digital India, was started by the Government of India in 2015 which aims in converting the country into a digital-enabled society and to ensure that the Government facilities are available to residents electronically. MyGov Himachal was also started keeping that aim in mind.
MyGov Himachal was launched on 6th January 2020 by Hon’ble CM Jai Ram Thakur and since then, there are almost 50,000 citizens connected to My Gov Himachal portal and also through its Social Media channels. MyGov is an innovative platform to build a partnership between Citizens and Government with the help of technology for the growth and development of the state. This unique platform aims to enhance citizen partnership with the state Government and vice versa. MyGov Himachal is helping people of the State to communicate their views, suggestions, feedback as well as discontentment. State Government is giving due consideration to constructive criticism and synergizing all contributions for the betterment of the State and Country as well.
MyGov Himachal was started by the state government to ensure the participation of common people for the government’s actions, policies, plans and upcoming decisions. This goal has achieved many successes in just one year. Various campaigns were conducted by the MyGov Himachal portal and various suggestions were invited. Thousands of citizens of the state ensured their participation in it. Not only this, but the state government has also taken most decisions in view of the suggestions of the public.
