New Education Policy Group

28 Jan 2015

The objective of this Group is to formulate a New Education Policy for the country through an inclusive, participatory and holistic approach. The National Policy on Education was framed in 1986 and modified in 1992. Since then several changes have taken place that calls for a revision of the Policy. The Government of India would like to bring out a National Education Policy to meet the changing dynamics of the population’s requirement with regards to quality education, innovation and research, aiming to make India a knowledge superpower by equipping its students with the necessary skills and knowledge and to eliminate the shortage of manpower in science, technology, academics and industry. For this purpose, 33 themes have been identified for discussions under this Group. The themes are divided separately for the School Education (13 themes) and Higher Education (20 themes) sectors.

ONe of the biggest requirement for path taking reform would be the backbone connectivity to the schools at villages. I would like to suggest why not terminate NKN projet of Govt of India at the schools at the blocks/GP/Vollages. So that this centre becomes a hub. As is now NKN connects major central and state universities including research centre. This connectivity to the village school would transform the entire education system from grasshood to maturity, Sharing information would be global

EDUCATION SYSTEM OVERFLOW WITH MONEY ONLY. THERE IS NO COUNTRY VALUES, NO COUNTRY HISTORY, ONLY PRODUCE UN-EMPLOYEES, PRIVATE INSTITUTES GAIN PROFIT. IN ALL STATES IN INDIA 0(zero)TO 10TH/10+2 CLASS VERY COSTLY, VERY BURDEN TO PARENTS, MORE WEIGHT(BOOKS WEIGHT) LESS NON-PRACTICAL EDUCATION SYSTEM IS RUNNING. VERY IMPORTANT CHANGE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN PRIVATE EDUCATION INSTITUTES ALSO.

Education loans defaulters are intentional; and recovery % under Educational loans is minimal; Educational loans should be immediately stopped by banks from squandering public money.

Country is ashamed of providing education to such cheats, defaulters

The state govts are not taking corrective measures for enhancing the education level. What l feel is lot of money year by year granted by the ministry is going in officers pocket only. I wish that one day I will have a meet with the minister of hrd.

New education policy ka koi fayda nahin jab tak zamini star par jaakar kaam kiya jaye. Day by day education level is going down. The state board workings are very rediculous. I’m from Punjab and what I have seen is students are not taking interest in studies and in the school timings they are outside the school premises. CBSE also has taken a wrong decision for 10 the standard by destroying the board exams.

Control over private schools is highly recommended. They are just chatting India. Rich people are running such schools, colleges and universities and making money. Poor students can’t enter there and parents also h have to attend interviews, means if a person is illiterate, schools will not allow his children’s to study? It is duty of school to teach students of such families because India needs true and real citizens. Government schools are also required too implemented with better infra.

We have proposal for re-framing the education system in efficient & innovative way.
    but
    Where to submit ideas?
Will ideas of common public (students) be listened?
If yes, who will listen them?
Can citizen of India take appointment easily from MHRD office without any difficulty?
If yes, what is appointment taking procedure?

    Waiting for reply.
