लखनऊ स्मार्ट सिटी प्रस्ताव-फास्ट ट्रैक राउंड के ड्राफ्ट के लिए प्राप्त नागरिक प्रतिक्रियाओं का विश्लेषण किया गया  और उस पर आधारित एक नागरिक केंद्रित योजना तैयार की गई .. नागरिकों की भागेदारी और परामर्श प्रक्रिया के भाग के रूप में, लखनऊ नगर निगम ने नागरिकों की सहभागिता बेहतर तरीके से हो इसके लिए  शहर के विभिन्न प्लेटफार्मों में विभिन्न गतिविधियों की व्यवस्था की गई थी ।
