Closure Announcement For Identify 10 Major Challenges and Change the Face of Ganga
Ministry of Jal Shakti and Namami Gange, in collaboration with MyGov, hosted an initiative “Identify 10 Major Challenges & Change the Face of Ganga” to identify and prioritize the major challenges affecting the Ganga river, aiming to strategize effective solutions. This activity was hosted from 22 July 2014 to 10 September 2014. Participants were invited to list out these challenges in order of priority, focusing on critical issues such as pollution, industrial waste, sewage management, riverbank erosion, and sustainable development.
A total of 286 submissions were received, highlighting a wide spectrum of concerns and proposed solutions to rejuvenate the Ganga.
