Winner Announcement for the Quiz on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day – 14th August
Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, organised Quiz on Partition Horrors Remembrance Day – 14th August to honor the memory of those who suffered during the Partition of India. The quiz aimed to spread awareness among students about the human cost of Partition and to inspire reflection on the values of peace, unity, and resilience.
The campaign received an overwhelming response from across the country. A total of 26,079 participants took part in the quiz from 3rd August 2025 till 17th August 2025. Analysis of participation patterns revealed that young people below the age of 18 were the most active group in attempting the quiz, reaffirming the success of the initiative in reaching school-going students. Among the states, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra recorded the highest participation, showcasing the wide national reach of the campaign.
