Winner Announcement for – Be a Privacy Ambassador – Data Privacy Awareness Quiz 2026
To celebrate Data Privacy Day in January 2026, the DSCI in collaboration with MyGov, organised the Be a Privacy Ambassador – Data Privacy Awareness Quiz 2026 – to spread awareness on the importance of protecting personal data and adopting privacy best practices among citizens. The quiz started on 28 January 2026 and ended on 28 February 2026.
The theme for the quiz was “Be a Privacy Ambassador”. Aligned with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA), the campaign moved beyond awareness to emphasise responsible adoption and practical implementation. The campaign encouraged both citizens and organisations to actively champion privacy through informed decisions and responsible everyday actions. The campaign highlighted practical steps that strengthen individual privacy habits and support responsible data practices in an increasingly digital ecosystem.
The Quiz witnessed an encouraging response of participation with a total of 20,974 users from different age groups and across different states.
