Closure Announcement for National Road Safety Quiz

Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and Centre of Excellence for Road Safety, IIT Madras in collaboration with MyGov conducted the National Road Safety Quiz, as part of Road Safety Month 2026, aimed at raising awareness on critical road safety issues.

The quiz was conducted from 30th January 2026 to 2nd March 2026 and witnessed an overwhelming response, receiving the participation of a total of 23,704 users from across the country.

The initiative saw active engagement from youth, with participants from the 18–24 age group emerging as the most active contributors, reflecting strong awareness and interest among young citizens towards road safety. Participants from states such as Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra led in terms of participation, showcasing widespread national involvement.

MoRTH, CoERS, IIT Madras and MyGov appreciate the efforts of all participants and thank them for their enthusiastic participation and commitment towards promoting safer roads.
