Closure Announcement for Name the four newly born cheetah cubs at Kuno
To Highlight a historical occasion for India’s cheetah reintroduction project, Siyaya, one of the translocated Namibian cheetahs, gave birth to four cubs in the Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh. They were the first cheetah cubs born in India in more than 70 years, as cheetahs were declared extinct in the country in 1952.
To mark this special occasion, MyGov invited citizens to suggest names for these newly born cubs. Name the four newly born cheetah cubs at Kuno Activity was hosted on MyGov Platform from 1st April 2023 to 30th April 2023 and received participation of 3816.
