The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), in collaboration with MyGov, successfully organized the quiz titled From Data to Decisions: Quiz on Base Year Revision of CPI, GDP and IIP to raise awareness among citizens regarding the importance of Base Year Revision in key macroeconomic indicators and its role in strengthening statistical systems and evidence-based policymaking.

The Base Year Revision exercise of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Consumer Price Index (CPI) and Index of Industrial Production (IIP) is an important statistical exercise undertaken to ensure that macroeconomic indicators accurately reflect structural changes in the economy, changing consumption patterns and emerging economic activities.

The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens across the country, reflecting growing public interest in understanding official statistics and their importance in governance and national development.

After evaluation, a total of 14 winners have been selected based on their performance in the quiz.
