Winners Announced for Urja Shakti Quiz – Powering India’s Sustainable Future
On the occasion of India’s continued commitment towards clean energy and sustainable development, the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), in collaboration with MyGov, organized the “Urja Shakti Quiz: Powering India’s Sustainable Future“ from 14th July to 21st July 2026 and received participation of 15,524.
The quiz was designed to enhance public awareness about India’s achievements, policies, and initiatives in the field of renewable energy and its contribution to nation-building, energy security, environmental sustainability, and the vision of Viksit Bharat.
Participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge on solar energy, wind energy, bioenergy, green hydrogen, small hydro power, energy efficiency, and other flagship renewable energy initiatives of the Government of India. The quiz encouraged citizens to actively engage with India’s clean energy transition and understand the country’s efforts towards achieving a sustainable and self-reliant future.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens across the country, reflecting the growing interest in renewable energy and India’s commitment to building a cleaner, greener, and energy-secure nation.
