Winners Announced for Nuclear Energy in India@2047 – Painting Contest
As part of Independence Day Celebrations 2026, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in collaboration with MyGov conducted the online Painting Competition on the theme “Nuclear Energy in India @2047” from 25th July to 28th July 2026 with the aim of spreading awareness among the citizens of India about nuclear technology and its significant contribution to the nation’s scientific progress.
The painting competition received a total of 2,755 entries from citizens across the country, reflecting their keen interest in understanding India’s achievements in the field of nuclear science and technology.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defence will send online invitation cards to the registered email addresses of the top three winners to attend the 2026 Independence Day Ceremony at the Red Fort, New Delhi.
All expenses related to travel, boarding, lodging, food, etc. to attend the ceremony will be borne by the winners and one accompanying person. However, travel by Delhi Metro will be free of charge upon presentation of the e-invitation to reach the venue (Red Fort). Further, children below 5 years of age will not be allowed to attend the ceremony.
