Winner Announcement for TRAI’s DND Reel Challenge Contest for protection from SPAM Calls and messages
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India(TRAI), a Statutory Body established by an Act of Parliament, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, organised the TRAI DND Reel Contest on the theme “protection from SPAM through TRAI’s DND App”.
The competition aimed to raise awareness about the mechanism developed by TRAI for blocking and reporting of SPAM calls and messages for the benefit of the consumers of telecom services. The entries were judged in three categories i.e. Hindi, English and other Indian languages each of which carried a prize money of Rs. 25000(1st prize), Rs.15000(2nd Prize) and Rs.10000 (3rd Prize).
The initiative provided a creative platform for general public across India to create impactful reels highlighting the importance of DND App in blocking and reporting of SPAM calls and messages fostering a safer online environment. The competition was conducted virtually through the MyGov platform from the month of June, 2026 till August, 2026 and a total of 286 entries were received.
