Winner Announcement Blog for Suggest Names for Cheetahs
On September 25, 2022, during Mann Ki Baat, the Hon’ble Prime Minister urged the citizens to present suggestions for cheetahs reintroduced from Namibia and South Africa.
With an aim to popularize and sensitize the general public about Project Cheetah, MyGov hosted a contest on its platform to suggest names for the Cheetahs from 26th September to 31st October 2022 (https://www.mygov.in/group-issue/suggest-names-cheetahs/).
The contest was open to all Indian citizens and was available in English and Hindi. 11,565 citizens across the country participated in this content, making it a grand success.
After due deliberation, the competent authority has shortlisted below mentioned entries as winners.
