Announcing the Results of the National Level Competition for Creation of Logo, Background of Donor card & Slogan Writing on Organ Donation
Government of India as a part of its health initiative through the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has created the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO) to promote Organ Donation and transplantation. There is growing need of organs for transplantation in lakhs of patients suffering from end stage organ failure (kidneys, liver, heart, lung, pancreas, etc.) and also the need of tissues such as skin, bone, cornea and heart valve in patients with tissue loss (extensive burns, comminuted fractures, corneal opacity with blindness and severe valvular heart disease).
To tap the creativity of young minds, NOTTO Hosted a National Level Competition on Mygov.in, for duration of 20 days from 11th to 30th October 2015, in three categories.
NOTTO has received an overwhelming response for this competition. The entries were shortlisted by a screening committee and results were finalized by technical committee. Based on the identified criteria, we are pleased to announce the winners in each category of competition
