Azadi Ka Digital Mahotsav

14 Dec 2021

4th December 2021 will always remain as one of the most special days for MyGov. Why? Because after a long time we got the chance to physically meet & interact with MyGov Saathis, the people who motivate us & help us thrive for perfection in our endeavour to serve the people of India with participative governance.

The day started with lamp lighting ceremony by Minister of State, Culture, Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, along with Shri Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Abhishek Singh President and CEO, NeGD, and MyGov; and Shri Amitesh Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretary, MeitY.

Along with the dignitaries, MyGov awarded citizens who actively participated in the MyGov challenges, shared their logo ideas, and helped the government in the formulation of policies and programmes.

Amid all the hustle, our MyGov Saathi, Hansa Patidar from Madhya Pradesh shared her journey of teaching citizens how to use mobile phones & engage with eGovernance. She was not only elated to meet Hon’ble MoS Smt Meenakshi Lekhi ji & CEO MyGov, Shri Abhishek Singh but touched by the honour she received at the event. She later personally pledged to ensure 10,000 citizens are connected with the MyGov citizen engagement platform.

Session I with #MyGovSaathis, Poonam Kaul – #EkDesh, Dr Pooja Sehgal – Gates Foundation, Prerita – MyGov Alumni, Dheeraj Kaushik – Project SETU & Yashika – Voice of Achievers was extremely fruitful. We have been grateful for their timeless support & collaboration with us over the years.

The session was followed by a very positive discussion at panellists from Koo, Facebook, Twitter, Chingari, Google and Bolo Live App. We wish to thank them for all their support in reaching out to 2 crore MyGov Saathis!

The event was also graced by performers – Dharavi Dream Project & Princess of Tabla, Rimpa Siva from Kolkata who gave mesmerizing performances that captured the hearts of everyone in the auditorium.

Lastly, we wish to thank our team, with whose efforts everything seems possible and everything seems easy.
