Celebrations on 1st Anniversary of Launch of Smart City Mission as well as Mission AMRUT

In the year 2015, the Govt. Of India launched Smart City Mission, under which Faridabad was shortlisted as one of the Smart Cities of our nation. Besides, last year the Govt. Of India also launched AMRUT (Atal Mission for Rejuvenation & Urban Transformation) in which too Faridabad was shortlisted amidst 20 cities of Haryana.
With completion of 1 year of the flagship of these two missions on 25th June 2016, the prominent day was celebrated with much enthusiasm all across our country. The Honorable PM, Shri Narendra Modi, inaugurated the auspicious day in an event at Pune, Maharashtra. Municipal Corporation Faridabad too celebrated the auspicious date by organizing an event in Municipal Auditorium, NIT Faridabad. Dr. Aditya Dahiya, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Faridabad, was an esteemed part of this event, along with other higher officials of MCF & a group of general public.
