Citizen Participation for Smart City Jhansi
Jhansi Municipal Corporation Organize Citizens & Stakeholder Consultation in All 60 Wards In Jhansi.
Dated on 12th October 2015 In Municipal Corporation Office, Municipal Commissioner Shri Arun Prakash has been decided to arrange the Citizen Consultation camp in all 60 wards in Jhansi.
From 15th October 2015 to 19th October 2015 Nagar Nigam’s Officers hosted the camp at All 60 Wards in Jhansi. Mayour & Parshad were also present at the event. All the officers went on to brief the audience about the Smart City Mission (Retrofitting, Redevelopment, Green City, Pan City) challenge and the efforts made for citizen consultation. Mr. Arun Prakash Municipal Commissioner also spoke about the importance of citizen in society and urged them to come forth and play a vital role in Jhansi’s transformation into a Smart City. This was followed by a round of suggestions that were put forth by various citizens present at the forum. A Template containing information about the mission and citizen engagement process was also distributed, along with a brief self-filled survey which captured the issues and suggestions of the people.
