Closure Announcement Blog for Coin a suitable name for Monthly Magazine of Ministry of WR, RD and GR
The Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation (WR, RD and GR), is responsible for the conservation, management and development of water as a national resource; overall national perspective of water planning and coordination about diverse uses of water; general policy, technical assistance, research and development, training and matters relating to irrigation and multi-purpose projects, groundwater management; conjunctive use of surface and groundwater, command area development, flood management including drainage, flood-proofing, water logging, sea erosion and dam safety.
In this context, the Ministry in collaboration with MyGov invited entries from the participants for a suitable name for the monthly magazine of the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation. The contest was hosted on the MyGov platform from October 15, 2018 till October 31st, 2018 and received 3851 entries nationwide.
The entries received were examined, and it was decided that none of the entries were suitable to be used for the purpose. Therefore, with sincere appreciation for the efforts and creativity showcased, it has been collectively decided not to proceed further with the entries received for the said competition.
We appreciate the efforts of all the participants and thank them for their overwhelming interest, enthusiasm, and keenness in participating in this activity. We look forward to your continued participation in upcoming activities.
