Closure announcement Blog for Design a Mascot for National Energy Conservation Program

The National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated every year on December 14 since 1991. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, spearheads the celebrations every year. The objective to celebrate National Energy Conservation Day is to drive mass awareness about the importance of energy efficiency and conservation.

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in collaboration with MyGov hosted a Design a Mascot for National Energy Conservation Program contest from December 10, 2023 till February 11, 2023.

A total of 529 citizens nationwide, participated in this activity.

The entries received were examined, and it was decided that none of the entries were suitable to be used for the purpose. Therefore, with sincere appreciation for the efforts and creativity showcased, it has been collectively decided not to proceed further with the entries received for the said competition.

Ministry of Power, BEE and MyGov appreciate the efforts of all the participants and thank them for their overwhelming interest, enthusiasm, and keenness in participating in this activity. We look forward to your continued participation in upcoming activities.
