Closure Announcement Blog for Theme Song on IMD
The Theme Song for the IMD competition was conducted through MyGov website. The theme song contest for the Indian Meteorological Department’s 150 years went live on 16th November 2023 and closed on 15th December 2023.
A total of 26 valid entries were received. As per the terms & conditions of the Indian Meteorological Department, the song should have been provided in MP3 format. Unfortunately, all the entries were in PDF & JPEG format only, which did not fulfil the requirement of the Indian Meteorological Department. As no valid entry of the theme song from the participants has been received, IMD has decided to close the event/competition.
Indian Meteorological Department, Ministry of Earth Sciences and MyGov would like to thank all the participants for their enthusiasm and encourage them to continue taking part in such future activities.
