Closure Announcement for Compose a Jingle on Mahatma Gandhi and his Philosophies
Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized Compose a Jingle on Mahatma Gandhi and his Philosophies as part of the 75 years of India’s Independence “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. This contest is organized in collaboration with MyGov. The competition invited participants to self-compose a jingle on Mahatma Gandhi and his philosophies, showcasing their creativity and musical talents.
The competition, which began on October 1, 2021, and concluded on June 30, 2022, received a total of 754 submissions. Participants were required to create a 1-minute jingle in any official Indian language as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, highlighting Gandhiji’s ideals and contributions to India’s freedom struggle.
