Closure Announcement for Design a Lapel Pin/Badge for Swachh Sujal Shakti Sammaan
Ministry of Jal Shakti in collaboration with MyGov hosted a contest to Design a lapel Pin/ Badge for Swachh Sujal Shakti Sammaan to celebrate women’s leadership in achieving Swachh and Sujal Gaon under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) and Jal Jeevan Mission, and other national priorities relating to water.
The Ministry of Jal Shakti, in association with the Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, proposed to celebrate women’s leadership in the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector by felicitating the women achievers who have contributed immensely to the development of ODF Plus Model, and Har Ghar Jal villages, as well as Water Conservation, River Development etc under the National Flagship programs.
The activity was hosted from 30th January 2023 to 10th February 2023, and received 352 responses from the users.
The entries received were examined, and it was decided that none of the entries were suitable to be used for the purpose. Therefore, with sincere appreciation for the efforts and creativity showcased, it has been collectively decided not to proceed further with the entries received for the said competition.
