Closure Announcement for Dress Up Your Kids as Mahatma Gandhi
Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized a “Dress Up Your Kids as Mahatma Gandhi” competition as part of the 75 years of India’s Independence “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. This contest is organized in collaboration with MyGov. This competition invited children aged 2 to 10 years to dress up as Mahatma Gandhi (Bal Gandhi: Moniya) and submit their photos on the MyGov platform.
The competition, which ran from October 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022, received a total of 793 submissions. Participants creatively depicted Mahatma Gandhi through their children’s costumes, celebrating his legacy and principles of non-violence and truth.
We thank all participants for their enthusiastic participation and for honoring the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi through this heartwarming competition.
