Closure Announcement for Reel Making Contest for Engaging Youth in Emerging STI for Viksit Bharat
The Emerging Science, Technology, and Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) is India’s premier STI platform, bringing together ministries, innovators, and global visionaries. In order to create awareness about this flagship S&T event Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, in collaboration with the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST) and MyGov, was organised a reel contest around the objectives of the ESTIC (Emerging Science Technology and Innovation Conclave).
The contest, organised by DST in line with the vision of #ViksitBharat2047, was a national-level creative challenge inviting youth aged 13–25 years to showcased their innovative science-based solutions for real-world problems.
The competition was hosted on the MyGov platform from August 26, 2025 to September 25, 2025 and received an enthusiastic response with a total of 894 entries were received. After screening, only 23 entries were considered for merit, while 287 were rejected, as most contained only images rather than actual video reels.
We wish to inform all participants that, after a thorough review and careful consideration by the evaluation committee, no reel has been selected at this stage.
