Closure Announcement for Share Your Adoption Journey – Inspire Hope, Build Awareness Activity
The Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA), in collaboration with MyGov, invited adoptees, adoptive parents, and prospective adoptive parents from across the globe to share their personal stories, reflections, and memorable moments from their adoption journey. The initiative was open from 01 October 2025 to 30 November 2025.
This initiative aimed to inspire families considering adoption, break prevailing myths and stigmas, highlight the beauty as well as the challenges of forming a family through adoption, and strengthen awareness about inclusive, legal, and ethical adoption practices.
We are pleased to share that the contest received an enthusiastic response, with 205 entries submitted by participants from across the country. The diversity of experiences and perspectives shared reflects the growing awareness and engagement around adoption in India.
However, upon detailed evaluation, it was observed that only a limited number of submissions met the prescribed criteria. Therefore, may not be able to issue any appreciation letter/mail at this stage.
We sincerely appreciate the effort, creativity, and heartfelt participation of every contributor. Your voices and experiences are invaluable in shaping a more informed and compassionate adoption ecosystem. We look forward to your continued engagement and enthusiastic participation in our future initiatives.
