Closure Announcement for Vikas Saptah Reel Competition
As part of Vikas Saptah 2025, MyGov Gujarat conceptualized the Vikas Saptah Reel Competition with the objective of encouraging citizen participation in narrating stories of Gujarat’s growth and India’s development journey. The competition aimed to create a participatory platform where citizens could creatively showcase governance reforms, flagship schemes, digital transformation, inclusive growth, and the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat, inspired by the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister and Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat.
The competition was hosted on the MyGov Gujarat Portal between 10 October 2025 and 09 November 2025, inviting citizens to submit short reels aligned with the notified themes, technical parameters, and terms and conditions.
Upon closure of the submission window, a total of 39 entries were diligently reviewed. After a detailed scrutiny of all submissions, it was observed that none of the entries adhered to the prescribed technical specifications, format requirements, and content guidelines outlined in the competition framework.
In view of the limited participation and the non-compliance of submissions with the expected standards, it has been decided to scrap the Vikas Saptah Reel Competition, and consequently, no entries have been selected for further evaluation or awards.
MyGov Gujarat sincerely appreciates the interest shown by participants and acknowledges the effort taken by citizens to engage with the initiative. Such participation reflects the growing enthusiasm of citizens to contribute creatively to public initiatives.
Citizens are encouraged to actively participate in future engagements and competitions on the MyGov Gujarat platform, adhering closely to the guidelines, to help collectively celebrate the spirit of Vikas, Participation, and Pride.
