Closure Announcement for Weather and Climate Quiz

The India Meteorological Department conducted the “Weather and Climate Quiz” in collaboration with MyGov to commemorate 75 Years of India’s Independence as part of the ongoing ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’. From 18th October 2021 to 18th November 2021, participants engaged in testing their knowledge on various aspects of weather and climate sciences.
The quiz highlighted the crucial role of the India Meteorological Department in building a weather-ready nation through comprehensive weather and climate monitoring, forecasting, and warning services since 1875.
We thank the 22,386 participants who contributed to the success of this quiz, showcasing their interest and awareness in meteorology and allied subjects.
