Closure of the Slogan Competition for India Semiconductor Mission (ISM)
With a view to ascertain administrative and financial autonomy to drive India’s strategies for developing the semiconductors and display manufacturing ecosystem, India Semiconductor Mission was established as an Independent Business Division within Digital India Corporation (DIC). Further for the purpose of effective branding by creating awareness about ISM and its objectives through a clear identifiable presence amongst the relevant the requirement of an appropriate logo and slogan was considered necessary.
Accordingly, a Slogan competition was organized by MyGov for ISM on December 29, 2021, wherein slogans for the India Semiconductor Mission were invited from the public. The valid entries received for the slogan competition were reviewed by the Hon’ble Minister of State and it was observed that none of the entries was appropriate for the adoption by ISM. It is therefore decided not to proceed further in this regard.
The efforts of all the participants are appreciated and ISM expresses its gratitude for the overwhelming interest, enthusiasm, and keenness showcased during the Slogan Competition for India Semiconductor Mission (ISM).
