Design e-greetings for Diwali 2015 contest concludes
“Diwali e-greetings Design Contest 2015” was organized under the Digital India Program of Ministry of Electronics & IT (MeitY). Diwali is one of the most celebrated festivals of India. Being the most popular festivals of Hinduism, it signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and hope over despair. The celebration is marked by the millions of lamps shining on housetops, outside doors, windows and wherever the festival is observed.
The contest invited creative e-greeting ideas for Diwali. MeitY appreciates the efforts of all of the participants and thanks them for their effective participation in the Design e-greetings Contest for Diwali.
Out of the many entries received, few were shortlisted for their commendable inputs.
However, it has been decided to close the contest as in a few cases; entries were not found to be suitable whereas, for a few of the contests, the committees could not reach a conclusion. Moreover, for some of the contests, approval was not granted by the higher authorities
