Key Achievements & Initiatives of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in the Last 1 Year (2024-25)
In 2024–25, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs took major steps to uplift tribal communities through key programmes like PM-JANMAN and Dharti Aaba Abhiyan, aiming for the all-round development of PVTGs and tribal villages with over ₹1 lakh crore in funding. From providing homes, electricity, healthcare, and education to strengthening forest rights and supporting tribal entrepreneurs, the ministry’s efforts have made a real difference. More than 20.7 lakh tribal students received scholarships, while Eklavya schools saw major upgrades in digital learning. Tribal culture was honoured through Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh, and health initiatives like Sickle Cell Anaemia awareness reached lakhs.
