The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest 2017 (IICDC) has seen great success as a platform for students to display their ingenuity and enterprise. The IICDC is organized by TI, in association with Department of Science and Technology (DST). It is anchored by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov.

The IICDC 2017 Quarterfinals saw 325 submissions, which were reviewed by our panel of 50 evaluators. They worked meticulously to identify the teams with the best potential and who can do well in successive rounds. Teams were judged on the basis of a number of parameters such as the price point, key differentiating factors, marketing mediums and primarily on whether the idea is feasible to implement and sustainable from a business standpoint.

The list of evaluators comprised members from IIMB, NSRCEL and leaders in the start-up domain who have significantly contributed to the Indian industry.
