In Focus: Featured Volunteers (Part -2)

As a part of the Featured Volunteers series, MyGov shares with you the experiences of five more volunteers who have contributed extensively to MyGov over the past few weeks. Take a look at what they have to say on volunteering for MyGov:

Syed Abdul Kader (Chennai, Tamil Nadu)Syed Abdul Kader (Chennai, Tamil Nadu):
“Initially, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to MyGov and its team as I have been given a great opportunity to contribute my volunteering service. As a patriotic Indian, volunteering for the achievement of “Surajya” grants me a great patriotic feeling and lifelong self-satisfaction, because I can be part of the development of millions of Indians. Moreover, as a researcher and author on creativity and intelligence, volunteering towards a powerful nation-building provides me an amazing intellectual fulfillment with selecting best innovative suggestions coming from citizens.”

Sudhir Raikar (Mumbai, Maharashtra)Sudhir Raikar (Mumbai, Maharashtra):
“I am immensely proud to be associated with MyGov, an innovative and inclusive initiative that will undoubtedly lead to epoch-making collaboration and co-creation in several critical domain and verticals of national significance. Needless to say, the biggest motivation for me to join the MyGov movement is our Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s heartfelt appeal to Indians spread across the globe. Words fail to express my admiration for the paradigm shift he has brought in the quality and reach of government-public interaction, that too in such a short span of time. I look forward to as many opportunities as possible of serving the MyGov cause in the time to come.”

R.Datchana Moorthy (Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu)R.Datchana Moorthy (Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu):
“I had the pleasure of Volunteering with MyGov (www.mygov.in). It is proud to be a Volunteer in the field of Data Management among the millions of citizens of India. I feel that “Volunteering is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” I found the Vision and Mission of the online portal MyGov as a new entity to involve citizens in the Development of Nation. I feel grateful for that and an opportunity for volunteering in itself is an evidence to the fact that MyGov is associated with the well-being Nation.”

Prof. Dr.K. Ravindran (Chennai, Tamil Nadu)Prof. Dr.K. Ravindran (Chennai, Tamil Nadu):
“It is a dream come true experience to me in volunteering MyGov as it is so close to the voice of Indian citizens all over the world. Our great leader and Prime Minister Shri Modiji whom I support whole heartedly is the motivating force for me to work for this Unique Platform. As a creative writer and social thinker with research and teaching experience and conducting awareness workshops, I can understand that it is an excellent opportunity to hear the valuable suggestions and solutions from my fellow citizens on different topics and see it properly submitted to the related departments for actions. I love to associate continuously in this mission and it will be a proud moment for me in volunteering MyGov with sincerity and dedication on every work assigned to me in future.”

Chakradhar Behera (New Delhi)Chakradhar Behera (New Delhi):
“Out of all the volunteering platforms I have been associated so far, MyGov stands the most innovative in terms of engaging people in policy making. While sorting out inputs on various debated issues, which could be incorporated in policy decisions, I feel directly connected with the people, their problems and the best policy, they expect from the government. Hailing from a farming village in Odisha and living in Delhi, I have never witnessed any such leadership at anywhere, who gives much weightage to a common man’s say in the governance process. Inspired by our PM Shri Narendra Modiji‘s call for ensuring Surajya, I hope my little contribution as a volunteer will surely facilitate good governance in its true sense.”

Kindly encourage those with patriotic fervor to participate in decision making process of the country. Modiji should accelerate the process of bringing changes especially in the field of education. I am quite disappointed that NEP has not been formulated. I urge our beloved prime minister to direct the officers to give respect to the aspiration of those who send emails. Government departments are bit too slow in responding to emails.
