Students take their first steps towards becoming successful entrepreneurs

The India Innovation Challenge Design Contest (IICDC) has grown from strength to strength every year since its inception in 2016. Organized by Texas Instruments in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology (DST) and anchored by NSRCEL, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) and supported by MyGov, IICDC is an attempt at creating an immersive ecosystem to encourage innovation. The uniqueness of the contest is it serves as a launch pad in recognizing India’s engineering talent in innovation and sharpening their business acumen besides providing them a launch pad with a funding of INR 20 lakhs for Top 10 winning teams in setting up their start-up.

The latest edition, IICDC 2018, has seen participation by 26511 students who dream of paving future of India with engineering solutions and path breaking innovative ideas. Registration process for the third edition of India’s most coveted design contest, IICDC 2018, has now come to a closure. Within the first 80 days, IICDC 2018 saw more than 10000 teams register for the contest. IICDC 2018 registrations have set a new benchmark in itself. The students are now one step closer towards realising their dream ideas.

Meanwhile, Top 10 winners of IICDC 2017 have begun their incubation process at IIMB@NSRCEL supported by the best-in-class mentoring by NSRCEL and Texas Instruments with a funding of INR 20 Lakhs each to fulfill their dreams and potential entrepreneurs.
