Inviting citizens to join contests on the proposed scheme of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation has set up a scheme to reach out to the poorest of the poor. The proposed scheme is designed under the envisioned philosophy of ‘Antyodaya’ by Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Aim of the proposed scheme: To expand the scope of present National Urban Livelihoods Mission, offer concessional loans for micro enterprises, skill training and mobilization of women, improve infrastructure of street vendors and provide shelters for homeless.
The mission starts on 25th September 2014, the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.
Contests: Citizens are invited to give in a name, logo and a tagline for the mission and win prizes.

Propose a name to the scheme

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation seeks entries for creating a name for the scheme. The last date of submission is 18th September, 2014 (midnight). The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of:

1. First Prize – Rs. 10,000/-
2. Second Prize – Rs. 5,000/-

3. Third Prize – Rs. 5,000/-

Create a logo for the scheme
