#JanJanKaBudget: Union Budget 2020-21 reflects Citizens’ Ideas
The Ministry of Finance, Government of India invited suggestions from citizens across the country through a discussion forum on MyGov. More than 19,000 suggestions were received through this discussion. And many good ideas shared by #CitizenMyGov got reflected in the Union Budget presented by Hon. Union Finance Minister of India Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in the Parliament on 1st Feb 2020.
MyGov appreciates all the citizens for wholeheartedly participating in the discussion. Some of these prominent suggestions are as follows: –
Ankur Govani’s idea to focus more on Agriculture in terms of Rishi and Krishi made it to the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Rajesh Nair’s idea of making more warehouses for refrigeration of vegetables became part of #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Ayush Prabh’s idea of reducing the consumption of coal in the thermal power plants made it to the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Rajagopalan Chandar’s idea of allocating fund for linking of rivers in 2-3 years by using high end technology for Agricultural purpose made it to the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Yogesh Ks’s idea for the need of more doctors in the country became part of the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Vishwanandhrao Batchu’s idea of introducing a universal pension scheme made it to the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Chaitanya Godbole’s idea of replacing conventional energy meters by prepaid smart meters became part of the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Suratvanti’s idea on extension of PMJAY to middle class sector became part of the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Arun Kumar’s idea on Solar Irrigation pumps became part of the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
Koteswara Rao’s idea for opening discoms and water supply & Sewage for private investment and competition made it to the #JanJanKaBudget proposal.
