13 Aug 2021

As the country celebrates “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” marking the 75th year of India’s Independence in a grand manner at the national level, MyGov and Ministry of Culture invited people from all walks of life to design a logo to mark the momentous occasion.

The “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” began its official journey on March 12, 2021, marking the beginning of a 75-week countdown to the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence. In the last 74 years, the country has made significant progress in many areas including but not limited to agriculture, economy, health, infrastructure, education and social reforms. Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, has also expressed his vision to build an AatmaNirbhar Bharat by the year 2022.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Logo Design Contest was hosted on MyGov Platform to celebrate the same. The contest saw enthusiastic participation. We received 5,296 entries. The highest number of entries were received from Delhi followed by Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. After much deliberation, it was found that none of the entries fulfilled the evaluation criteria required for selection.

Therefore, the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Logo was designed by team MyGov, and this has been accepted and promoted by Government of India.

MyGov is grateful to everyone for their overwhelming participation.
