Radio Talk Show – Preparation of Smart City Proposal for Pasighat
Pasighat has been selected under 23 Fast track cities for the Smart Cities Mission, Government of India in which a revamped proposal is to be submitted before 15th April 2016.
In this regard, Pasighat Municipal Council organized a radio Talk show in the form of Group Discussion to elicit Citizen Participation& Engagement in the preparation of new Smart City Proposal. This Group Discussion was attended by:-
1) MLA, Pasighat as public representative
2) Municipal Executive Officer, Pasighat as representative of the organization
3) Smart City Mission officer as Subject Expert.
The participants discussed about the various prospects of making Pasighat a smart city. There were discussions and deliberations on the gaps identified by Govt. of India on previous proposal and way forward on rectifying these gaps. This talk show was organized at All India Radio headquarters, Pasighat.

As MLA Sir said there should be proper drainage system, so that there won’t be any stagnent of water And proper cleaning of places. As there are dustbin published in every sector of pasighat and drainage system is process. it’s good to hear that swachh bharat mission is taking the responsibility, for it. As we know Swachh bharat mission is the india’s biggest ever cleanliness drive.
Municipal Executive Officer, Pasighat is saying Right about of Pasighat people were unaware of E-governances in stage of the smart city. But know Pasighat were known all about the E-governances, which is also the component of the smart city. Now, our smart city mission member was, discussing and providing the awareness of the E-governances. The Example were like the lying of BSNL fibre cable under the Pasighat and nearby villages to acknowledge the value of the
Thanks to former ADC and The team ,for their dedications and hard work they had given for smart city campaign. Due to their hardworking now the public are showing their interest in the campaign .
To make new town a smart city, IT sector should be boosted.govt.should strive to attract prestigious IT companies to new town which in turn will be lucrative to local infrastructure and will rise employment too. Education sector should be the priority. it is very imp. To build fine institutions which will engage smart minded students to build much smart society.

Sir wat about Meerut as Smart City..kya Meerut ess layak bhi nhi ki Meerut ko aap loog ne perposal m include nhi kiya. SP Govt toh always against rahti h..plz aap loog toh hame esse mat choodo. Humne toh vote bhi dovelopment ko diya thaa
