Result Announcement of Quiz Contests on Handlooms
Two online Quiz Contests on “#Knowyourhandlooms” were conducted as a part of one of the activities on the occasion of 6th National Handloom Day on 7th August 2020 by the Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles in coordination with MyGov. The 7th of August is celebrated as “National Handloom Day” every year with an objective to create awareness about the importance of the handloom industry and its contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.
The details of the above Quiz Contests on Know Your Handlooms are as follow:
- Quiz contest for students up to Class 12th (Duration – 7th to 10th August 2020).
- Quiz contest for General Public (Duration – 16th to 19th August 2020).
The above Quiz Contests received an overwhelming response from the public. The total no. of participation for:
- Quiz contest for Students Up to Class 12th was 39,270 and
- Quiz Contest for General Public was 22,521.
As announced winners will get a cash reward of Rs. 5,000/- per person in each category of the contests.
The list of winners for both categories of Quiz Contests is 38 (i.e., 18 for Students up to Class 12th & 20 for General Public).
