Smart City Kakinada – Citizen Consultative Workshop was arranged on September 16th 2015

On 16th Septeber 2015, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly Vanamadi Kondababu, Member of Parliament Sri. Thota Narasimham addressed the Citizens of Kakinada about its selection in 100 Smart Cities and requested them to provide active participation in prepartion of Smart City Proposal.

1.mainly focus on population. 2.should be proved basic necessary goods like food,cloth,shelter of all citizens. 3.on focus on re cycle of wastage of industry. 4.try to more plantation in kakinada. 5. maintain the proper transport and road facility in international standards. 6.kakinada have a water resources is very highly should use the water. 7.motivate the people.
Elaborate the city
Please provide the better roads for transportation. Traffic management should be improvised.. Better sewage treatment making it as a solid waste.. Solid waste can be used to produce electricity.. Better job opportunities for the needful..
Greenery to improve our environment and surrounding.. Planting trees..
Industries should be built for mechanical engineer..
City should be clean weekly..

No maintenance of roads and surroundings causing lot of dust.. No fresh air which s basic need.. Cleanliness s maim thing..
1st thing iz maintain the roads properly in pb road, power supply ,plant d trees beside to roads n clean the city ..
TO be a SMART City,
1) The approach roads AT THE ENTRY TO KAKINADA -Samarlakota, Pithapuram, Yanam & Draksharamam Should be a FOUR/TWO LANE.
2) SMart city should be a GREEN City
3) Frequent shuttle TRAIN to be run between Kakinada to Samarlakota, (shuttle train use to run during 1993)
4) Beach should be developed and the connectivity road from Kakinada to Vizag accross the beach/Costal lane should be laid
5) Fly over requirements to be fulfilled at Jaganadhapuram Pratap Nagar, Indra Palem
Its a good initiative by the KMC & the govt.officials to know the importance of this program to the citizens of Kakinada. And should be planned properly to make this happen in a right manner. Also remember to stop establishing the pollution based companies & already there is lot of pollution in the city currently because of Oil companies.

kakinada is the one of the best and peacefull city in andhrapradesh and as well as its having lot of resources to dovelop ot self and become a smart city with all facilities the ..main thing the city infrastructure so many industries are situated here and central govt institutions like ongc and gail gspc situated here and the pride of india k,g basin is here and kakinada having spacious coastal line as well port and tourosm wise if we devolep we will reach to new heights .
