Press Conference for Smart City Rourkela

Rourkela Municipal Corporation has initiated the process of citizen consultations for Stage 2 of the “Smart City Mission” City Challenge through various mediums such as MyGov, social media (including Facebook and Whatsapp).
As part of the process, Rourkela Municipal Corporation has organized press conference where citizens and press/media persons were briefed about the Smart City Mission, city challenge and the vital role that citizens need to play.

according to me i think we should work on vertical farming as well
A smart city needs to be efficient as well as caring for its residents and tourists. Rourkela also boasts of one of the best Engineering institutes in the country and should collaborate with NIT Rourkela to come up with effective strategies on infrastructure development and waste management. Solar panels can be installed in the NIT Rourkela campus and the NIT can become self sufficient in powering its campus. A central market place needs to be developed near the railway station to avoid traffic
My city, smart city should be well planned and organized for slum dwellers in around of the city
drainage system needed to improve,needed solid and liquid wast management system,from wast to energy plant,water treatment plant,improve sanitation,traffic light need to be work,Water Quality and Supply,safety and security,foot path,clean road and no animal around street
