Vibrant responses mark the end of contests organized by Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation

The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation came up with creative contests for its proposed scheme on the MyGov platform. The scheme will work under the envisioned ‘Antyodaya’
philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya. It aims to improve livelihood of the poor and the urban poor by offering concessional loans for setting up micro enterprises, skill training and mobilization of women into self help groups and more. The all-embracing scheme is set to embark on 25th September 2014, the Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya.

Competitions were organized under three categories for suggesting name, logo and tagline for the scheme. Contest for suggesting a name for the scheme fetched around 2500 responses (check here).

For coining a tagline the responses were over 1700 (More…).

While for designing a logo, the count crossed 600 (See…)

The competition concluded on 18 September, 2014. Winning entries will be announced soon.

Keep participating through the creative corner of MyGov.
