VISION DEHRADUN: I’m For Smart Doon, Are You?
Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA) takes the pride to initiate the citizen consultation for the Smart City Challenge through Vision Workshop.
As part of citizen consultation, we are planning launch a Blog on MyGov where different stakeholders of the city can be suggest, discuss, issues, strengths and potential of various locations, with respect to Smart city features Dehradun.
Dr R Meenakshi Sundaram, IAS, nodal officer, MDDA, addressed the stakeholders asking them to gear up to come out with flying colours in the fast-track round of selection process of Smart Cities Mission. The state government has taken initiatives to promote the development of smart city. MDDA and DMC, to encourage citizen’s engagement with the mission, are driving the Smart City Awareness Campaign. The campaign is spreading awareness among stakeholders.
Nitin Bhaudaria, IAS, Municipal Commissioner, informed stakeholders of his concerns regarding certain infrastructure and technology constraints but also mentioned of efforts being taken to work together to make the city better.
