Winner Announcement Blog for ICWA Essay Writing Competition, 2018

As part of its ‘Awareness Programme on Indian Foreign Policy’, Indian Council of World Affairs held the third edition of ICWA Essay Competition for school students (15-18 years) and undergraduate/ post graduate students (18-25Years).

The open essay writing competition was organised at the national level for school students  and students pursuing graduation and post-graduation.

The topic of the Essay Competition was:

Junior Level (15-18 years)

  1. Why climate change is important for India’s Foreign Policy?’ – (1500 words).

Senior Level (18-25 years)

  1. ‘Is India’s Foreign Policy an instrument for our development?’  – (2500 words).

The Essay contest was launched on 16th March 2018 and the last date for entries was 31st July 2018. Essay entries were received on MyGov Portal as well as on the Council email. A total of 506 entries were received, details are as under:

2. Ms. Sanchana Srivastava 2nd
