Winner Announcement blog for Prepare to Prevail Disaster quiz
National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) celebrates its foundation day every year to underscore its commitment to various disaster management.
As a part of this NDMA conducted the Quiz activity from 22nd August 2023 to 21 September 2023 on ‘The MyGov’ platform. With the objective of spreading awareness to motivate individuals and communities to take proactive measures. It aimed to leave a lasting impression, inspiring people to make preparedness a priority and contribute to a more resilient society.
The Quiz ‘Prepare to Prevail Disaster IQ Test: Test Your Preparedness Skills‘ was themed on Disaster preparedness and Mitigation-related subjects.
The quiz witnessed a total of 36,596. All the participants were issued an online participation certificate by MyGov. From all the participants, the top 3 winners were selected based on the points scored. The winners were given cash prizes for motivation. The prizes were Rs. 5000/-, Rs. 3000 and Rs. 2000/- for First, Second and Third winner respectively.
