Winner Announcement for Discover Ladakh Quiz
Celebrating Ladakh’s Wonders and Winners!
On 8th January 2025, the Discover Ladakh Quiz, organized by the Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh in collaboration with MyGov, began an exciting journey to engage citizens across India. This online quiz competition was launched as a precursor to the National Tourism Day celebrations, with the aim of showcasing Ladakh’s breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and unique biodiversity.
The Discover Ladakh Quiz invited participants to embark on a virtual exploration of Ladakh’s iconic tourist destinations, magnificent wildlife, traditional cuisine, high mountain passes, and vibrant cultural legacy. This initiative not only educated participants about Ladakh’s extraordinary diversity but also celebrated the theme of National Tourism Day, which highlights the role of tourism in fostering economic growth, cultural exchange, and sustainable development.
The quiz received an overwhelming response from enthusiastic participants across India. Over 13,357 entries were received, with significant participation from young individuals aged 18-24 years.
The top three winners will receive cash prizes of ₹5000/- each.
