Winner Announcement for Essay Competition on the Topic Swatantrata Ka Mantra – Vande Mataram

As a part of Republic Day Celebrations-2026, Essay Competition on the Topic Swatantrata Ka Mantra – Vande Mataram was conducted by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with MyGov from 20th Nov to 31st Dec 2025 in order to encourage participants to express, through art, India’s transformative journey towards self-reliance, innovation, and sustainable growth.
The Competition received 10044 entries from different age groups and across different states. We are pleased to announce the winners.

**The serial numbers in the list are for reference only and do not indicate the rank of the winners. The competitions were conducted on multiple platforms, and the winners’ blog has been prepared after a combined evaluation of entries from all platforms.
**Winners will receive the invitation pass, subject to verification of Indian citizenship, as the competition was open only to Indian citizens.
All expenses related to travel, boarding, lodging food etc. To attend the ceremony will be borne by the individuals and their companion. However, travel by Delhi Metro will be free of charge with e-invitation to reach the venue (Kartavya Path, New Delhi). Further, it may be noted that the children below 05 years will not be allowed to attend the ceremony.
The Ministry of Defence and MyGov congratulate and thank all the participants for their exuberance and hope that they will continue to participate in MyGov’s future activities.
**Please note that Republic Day Parade passes will be issued only to winners whose MyGov profiles are complete in all respects. In case of incomplete or incorrect profile details, the Ministry reserves the right to cancel the winning entry and withhold the issuance of passes.
