Winner announcement for Mahakal – Astronomy Instruments Quiz
The Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Division, Ministry of Education, Government of India, is organizing the conference “Mahakal: The Master of Time” celebrating the timeless traditions of Bharatiya astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology. The conference seeks to promote awareness of India’s traditional astronomical instruments and ancient astronomical wisdom among students, teachers, innovators, and the wider public.
As part of this initiative, the IKS Division, in collaboration with MyGov, hosted a special “Mahakal – Astronomy Instruments Quiz” open to the people of India from 14thNovember, 2025 to15th February, 2026. The quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation of 27497 from citizens across the country, reflecting a deep interest in India’s rich astronomical heritage.
We are pleased to announce that the winners of the Quiz have been declared. These winners are cordially invited to attend the conference “Mahakal: The Master of Time” where they will be recognized and celebrated for their knowledge and engagement with India’s scientific traditions.
