Winner Announcement for Quiz on Energy Efficiency for Sustainable India
As part of its citizen engagement efforts, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a Joint Venture of Public Sector Undertakings under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, in collaboration with MyGov, conducted the Quiz on Energy Efficiency for Sustainable India from 21st January 2025 to 30th April 2025.
The quiz aimed to raise public awareness and promote the adoption of energy-efficient appliances in Indian households. With significant untapped potential in the domestic sector, the initiative sought to educate citizens on the benefits of energy-efficient, and Star-rated appliances like 5 Star LED bulbs, 5 Star BLDC fans, and Super-Efficient Air Conditioners etc. By engaging participants through a knowledge-based and rewarding platform, EESL intended to drive behavioral change, encourage responsible energy use, and support India’s broader sustainability and climate goals.
The quiz was open to all citizens during the period and aimed to raise awareness about the benefits of energy-efficient technologies and encourage sustainable lifestyle choices among Indian citizens. The quiz received enthusiastic participation of 44,526 from across the country, with individuals competing to demonstrate their knowledge on energy efficiency and EESL’s innovative programs and solutions.
